Product description

The safe.lock conversion circuit board in combination with the safe.lock module or the WiPro III safe.lock closes the vehicle-side security gap caused by uncoded vehicle keys. This security gap affects the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper and Iveco Daily from year of manufacture 2006. If one of the two main devices is connected to the central locking system, the insecure original electronics in the vehicle key are replaced by this board. The vehicle can be locked and unlocked safely – protected by over 4 billion changing codes.

What happens during the conversion

"The replacement board takes the place of the original board in the flip key housing. To use the converted vehicle key, you will need a copy of the immobiliser transponder. You can get it from your Thitronik safe.lock Premium Partner or a suitable locksmith. The copied transponder is fixed in the depression provided in the original key housing. The vehicle can then be operated and started safely with the vehicle key and the Thitronik wireless remote control (optional). Note: The complete central locking system is always actuated if you press the unlock button on a 3-button remote control."

Well protected from replay attacks

Together with the WiPro III safe.lock, the conversion circuit board provides effective protection against increasingly prevalent replay attacks. In a base vehicle with inadequate coding of the radio signals, attackers can record the ‘unlock’ signal of your original wireless remote control and use it later to access your vehicle. Codes that change with every unlock and lock reliably prevent such replay attacks.
