Both gas warning systems detect propane, butane and KO / anaesthetic gases and must be connected to the vehicle's power supply.
To do this, the device is screwed into a suitable location inside the vehicle. Please note that both devices must be mounted as low as possible in the vehicle, as the detected gases (propane, butane and KO / anaesthetic gases) are heavier than air (for more information, see the FAQ Where should a gas sensor be mounted?).
G.A.S. is a stand-alone gas warning system with its own siren (inside the device) for installation in your vehicle.
G.A.S.-connect, on the other hand, is integrated into the WiPro III (safe.lock) alarm system. To do this, the gas warning system is interconnected with the alarm system via radio connection. G.A.S.-connect does not have an own siren (inside the device), but warns via the internal siren of the alarm system as well as the horn and hazard warning lights of the vehicle instead.
