  Locking and unlocking with the original vehicle key:

  Please note: When locking the vehicle with the original vehicle key, unlocking using THITRONIK® accessories (Wireless remote control 868, NFC Module, or THITRONIK® app) is no longer possible.

  For camping operations, it is recommended to always lock the vehicle using THITRONIK® accessories (Wireless remote control 868, NFC Module, or THITRONIK® app). If the vehicle is locked with THITRONIK® accessories, it can still be unlocked using the original vehicle key. Automatic relocking (auto-close) of the vehicle is not active in this case.

  During extended periods of inactivity (without charging the starter battery), it is advisable to lock the vehicle with the original vehicle key, as this is the only way to put it into sleep mode.

   

  Required additional horn:

  In your vehicle type, the vehicle horn only works with the ignition activated and cannot be triggered in the event of an alarm. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to use an THITRONIK® Auxiliary horn. 

   

  *Thitronik GmbH is not liable for damages caused by deep discharge of the starter battery. Please note that the vehicle cannot be unlocked if the battery is empty. The user is responsible for the proper use of the device.

• Can the NFC module be used on a heated windshield?

  Yes, but if the NFC module is attached to a heated windshield be aware that the power consumption will increase and battery life can be shorter.

  Yes, an upgrade for the Pro-finder to 4G is possible. This upgrade is available for devices with serial number 008 to 044. Follow the steps below to perform the upgrade:

  • Upgrade (leave) Pro-finder
  • Fill out, print and sign this form.
  • Send both to Thitronik (without any other accessories).
  • Pro-finder will be upgraded to the latest hardware and software version.
  • Return shipment incl. invoice (direct debit)
  • Re-installation of the locating device Pro-finder
  • Changing the serial number in the THITRONIK® app to 045 or higher.
  • Sending the programming SMS again via the THITRONIK® app.

  All Pro-finder with SN-008 - SN-044 are upgradeable.
