• Who is responsible for warranty matters?

  For questions about warranty matters, your first point of contact is always the installing company. It is the contractor and biller. You and the installing company can try to find another dealer to handle the rework if, e.g., the installer is too far away. Because all dealers are independent companies, processing in another way is not possible.

FAQ

• Will the original key still work after installation of a safe.lock product?

  If you haven’t used the conversion board thus far, the original central locking system will continue working normally. Nothing is changed on the vehicle in this regard. However, the WiPro III safe.lock deliberately ignores the signals from the original remote control (that come via the CAN bus) and even if the door could be unlocked mechanically, it remains secured by the alarm.

  The constant further development of the WiPro III safe.lock has already brought several software releases on to the market. Later software releases contain earlier functions. For vehicles in which the horn only works with the ignition, a siren is required.

• Where can I get Thitronik spare parts?

  Spare parts for your Thitronik product are available from your dealer or directly from Thitronik. As the manufacturer, we can usually also help with very old products. The sole exceptions are unfortunately the 433 MHz wireless components, which have been sold out for a few years now. Some dealers still carry them as remaining stock or they can be found on used goods platforms.
