• My vehicle is no longer affected – why should I continue using the conversion board?

  The affected vehicle manufacturers started using their familiar rolling codes again in model year 2019. These codes comprise a relatively small number of different changing codes from 1990. They were cracked many years ago and can be found on the internet.

  Even if you do not necessarily have to convert the vehicle key, the WiPro III safe.lock offers considerable (comfort) advantages over the normal WiPro III for Ducato & Co. For example, the central locking system can be controlled via Pro-finder or the network module and thus second/third users can also enter/leave the vehicle without the master key. The Thitronik wireless remote control is also an inexpensive additional remote control for the central locking system.

• How can I make the required settings on the onboard computer of my Fiat Ducato 8?

  Please proceed as follows:

  On your onboard computer, select the "Settings" menu and then "Doors and locks". In this menu, activate the two settings "Unlock door when getting out" and "Flash hazard warning lights when locking".

  

  Note:
  If these menu items are not displayed on your onboard computer, the WiPro III safe.lock is unfortunately not suited for your vehicle.

• Which vehicles are affected by the security gap?

  The following models are affected:

  • Fiat Ducato (2006-2018)
  • Peugeot Boxer (2006-2018)
  • Citroen Jumper (2006-2018)
  • Iveco Daily (2006-2018)

  Since model year 2019, the original vehicle remote control key has had a rolling code. This can be recognised by the new key ring eyelet. It is made of black plastic instead of the previous chrome-plated metal.
  Through the use of WiPro III safe.lock, you also have several comfort functions, e.g. control of the central locking system with the Thitronik wireless remote control 868 and unlocking of the vehicle doors via the Pro-finder or via Bluetooth with the network module, available to you.
