THITRONIK recommends Panasonic button cells for wireless magnetic contacts

We would like to inform you that we have received reports of Varta button cells showing a low battery message after only a short period of use. To ensure that you always have a reliable power supply, we recommend using Panasonic button cells instead.

We would also like to inform you that we have received an increasing number of reports that wireless magnetic contacts no longer function properly after the button cells have been replaced.

Our returns department has established that only Duracell button cells were used in these cases. These button cells are provided with a protective sticker, the residue of which can affect the contact surface of the battery after removal. These residues are often stubborn and cannot always be easily removed, even with acetone.

Therefore, in the event of a malfunction, please check whether residues of adhesive or foil material on the button cells could be the cause.
