Product description
In some, albeit few, vehicles, the reception of the internal GPS antenna on the Pro-finder is not strong enough. This is the case, for example, if the Pro-finder is mounted behind metal components. For such installation situations, Thitronik offers the GPS-pro, an external GPS antenna which guarantees excellent reception of the GPS signal.
Reliable vehicle locating
With the GPS antenna, you can easily locate your vehicle through the position data in the internet or with a navigation system even if the internal antenna’s reception is inadequate. This ensures that all functions of your Pro-finder or GSM-pro are available to you at all times.
Easy to mount – immediately ready for operation
With a self-adhesive housing and a two-metre-long cable, installation is flexible and fast. The antenna has a connector system that you connect to your GSM-pro or Pro-finder. Thanks to the short start-up time (TTFF), the antenna is quickly operational. ‘TTFF’ stands for ‘time to first fix’ and refers to the time that a GPS receiver needs to perform its first position fix after being switched on. Thanks to the perfected Thitronik technology, this time is especially short – this is especially important in emergencies. Moreover, its current consumption during the search is extremely low at approx. 24 mA.
