• Where can I order from? Can I order directly from Thitronik?

  New products are sold exclusively through dealers. The products are available at caravan dealerships and from selected car hi-fi dealers and car dealers as well as Bosch services.
  You can only purchase our products directly via the factory installation service (that is, material including installation).

• Which SIM card providers are not suitable for the Pro-finder?

  General:
  SIM cards from the provider beachSIM do not currently work with the Pro-finder. If these SIM cards are used with the Pro-finder, this may result in SMS messages being sent repeatedly due to problems with confirmation and delivery. beachSIM is currently working on this problem. Until a solution is found, SIM cards from beachSIM must not be used with the Pro-finder.

  Austria:
  Some cards from A1 do not work in Pro-finder. They have a 3G (UMTS) version of the SIM that sends text messages differently. Pro-finder cannot work with these cards. Older cards from A1 work. The prepaid version from A1 has worked in all known cases thus far except for automated querying of the balance, as described in the table.

  Switzerland:
  The following do not work: normal Swisscom, Swisscom-Prepaid, M-Budget, Orange.
  The following work reliably: Salt PrePay, Sunrise Prepaid airbag, Sunrise Prepaid Unlimited.

  5G SIM cards:
  5G SIM cards must be activated for 4G use by the network operator. Please contact the customer hotline of your SIM card provider or network operator directly.

  With the factory installation service, we also offer you the possibility of having the products installed right on our premises. Please contact us via the contact form or send an email to kontakt[at]thitronik.de to have a quotation prepared or to arrange an appointment.

• After inserting my new SIM card, I keep receiving SMS messages from Pro-finder – what could be the reason for this?

  You are probably using a card from the provider beachSIM. These cards currently do not work with the Pro-finder.
  When you insert a new SIM card into the Pro-finder, the Pro-finder sends an SMS message with a status query to your smartphone.
  Due to technical reasons, the beachSIM card cannot process this query and hence does not send a reply to the Pro-finder.
  As the Pro-finder does not receive a confirmation, it keeps sending further SMS messages with a status query to your smartphone every minute.
  beachSIM is currently working on this problem. Until a solution is found, SIM cards from beachSIM can unfortunately not be used with the Pro-finder.
